EASYLOG - Datalogger

RODER Electronics proposes EASYLOG, a powerful and flexible datalogger in a position to managing until 256 channels of analogic acquisition and 1024 channels of digital acquisition. To difference of the traditional datalogger, EASYLOG is interfaced to whichever electrinic controller or instrument of measure in a position to communicating with one data interface. With the help of appropriate analogic interfaces it is possible to acquire largenesses directly as temperature, pressure, speed, humidity, thickness, diameter and whichever other physical largeness or data production.

Introduction

EASYLOG is a very poured datalogger dedicated to the acquisition of physical largenesses and production data, installed in multiple fields (iron and steel, alimentary, chemical, druggist, wood, paper, glass, energy, ceramic, plastic). In fact the paperless datalogger currently in commerce employ for the memorization of data a memory module with defined ability. EASYLOG employs an innovative technology in the datalogger field and allows to memorize a number of champions never seen before.

Another point of EASYLOG force is the ability to transfer acquired data to commercial applicatives for the visualization and treatment of information ( for. ex. Microsoft Excel(TM) , Microsoft Access(TM), Crystal Report (TM) , etc ... ).

Advantages and Benefits

- Possibility to manage an high number of acquisition channels. The possibility to manage an highest number of acquisition channels renders this datalogger a valid substitute of the traditional paper datalogger where for space reasons it isn't possible to manage more than ten channels at the same time.

- Low cost. The employment of standard acquisition hardware and the possibility to manage many channels on a single acquisition emplacement renders EASYLOG much competitive from the point of view of the cost for every acquisition channel.

- Investment duration. EASYLOG can be installed on industrial or traditional PC. The investement is therefore long-lasting because does not exist the obsolescence possibility of the hardware or software.

- Low maintenance cost. Accessories and spares are easy availables on the market and with short provision time. To difference of traditional datalogger data are recorded on magnetic support and not necessarily they must be totally prints to paper. This characteristic allows a remarkable paper and pen-nibs saving that on the traditional datalogger cannot be qualified or close down post-acquisition.

- Connection with whichever intelligent peripheral. EASYLOG can transfer acquired data to printing from office to a net data transmission(Ethernet TCP/IP) to a connection based on field bus, toward peripheral backup units or data treatment, or can transfer data on CD ROM or DVD.

- Graphic print. Acquired graphics and trend can be recorded on magnetic or optical support or can be print on a traditional inkjet or laser printer.

- Alarms thresholds. Every sampled and monitored largeness is combinable to two prealarm thresholds and two alarm thresholds. This function allows the datalogger to generate events and alarms when taking place particular events or in case of process out of control. The generate events and messages can be managed from a special module or be transferred to a supervision system (for ex. SCADEX).

- Simpicity of use. The possibility to manage all the acquisition functions through a simple touch screen panel renders this datalogger usable also from not expert staff.

- Possibility to acquire data various from the alone analogic largenesses. EASYLOG is not employable in order to only acquired analogic largenesses but it can acquire also "particular" largenesses coming from barcode readers, PLC, intelligent controllers or whichever device in a position to transferring information through one digital communication door.
