3000FX SERIES
Coating Thickness Gauge

3 model availables :
- DCF-3000FX (only Ferrous models)
- DCN-3000FX (only Non-Ferrous models)
- DCFN-3000FX (Ferrous and Non-Ferrous models)
Measuring Range : 0 - 1500 µm
The models above are also available as a "BASIC" model without memory, statistics and IrDA port.
The new 3000FX series coating thickness gauge is a multifunctional
fully menu driven for fast, professional and precise coating thickness
measurements for
- varnish, paint and electroplated coatings on iron/steel
- varnish, paint and anodising coatings on non-ferrous metals and on austentic stainless steels
All external probes are machined to ultra-high standards and utilize a unique, hard-metal probe tip which prevents probe wear.
A v-notched footer provides a stable footing on small cylindrical
parts, which can be removed to expose a "micro-probe" sensor perfect to
measure on small surfaces and parts.
FEATURES
- Dependable accuracy over the entire range of the gauge, not just at "calibration check" points
- Measures to 0.1 µm, automatically rounding off to the nearest 0.1 mil.
- Keypad-selectable English or metric units
- Continuous reading update detects soft coatings as probe tip "sinks" into them
- Convient compact design
- Longer lasting, driftless calibration....Set it and forget it for long periods of time and from job to job
- Very reliable operation... Consistent, repeatable measurements
- Manufacturer's certificate included
Where to use 3000FX Series?
Wherever coatings are applied - whether on visual
and aesthetic grounds, to prevent corrosion protection, or for
functional and mechanical reasons - the coating thickness represents an
essential quality feature. The 3000FX Series is ideal for speedy,
non-destructive and exceptionally precise coating thickness
measurements.
FEATURES
- The 3000FX Series is a compact, lightweight coating
thickness gauge for operators who require both innovative and
user-frindly measuring techniques
- The 3000FX Series identifies the substrate and activates the appropriate measuring procedure
- Menu in a choice of three languages ensures ease of operation
- The 3000FX Series ensures non-destructive coating thickness measurement on steel and non- Ferrous metals
- Data transfer to a printer or PC takes place via an infrared interface
- Up to 10000 readings can be statistically evaluated : number of readings, mean value, standard deviation, min and max reading
- The uniform contact pressure of the sensor is kept to a minimum, preventing scratches and indentations to sensitive surfaces
- NIST Certificate included at no additional cost
High Temperature Probe Footer

The high temperature probe footer is a beige contact ring made of
heat-resistant plastic. This ring has a shape that is identical to the
original black v-grooved ring and is available for the 3000FX and
3000PRO only. With this probe footer, hot coatings such as freshly
temperature of up to 150°C (302°F).
