ODAC 151
Universal, Modular and Compact measuring head for diameter, width, height and border position

ODAC
151 is a new high-tech laser measuring head for on-line applications.
It measures accurately and reliably even under rigorous conditions in
all industrial processes.
ADVANTAGES
- Extremely compact
- Flexible mounting possibilities
- High Scan Rate
- Accurate and permanently calibrated
- Measures all materials including transparent objects
- Window contamination indicator
ODAC 151 operates with a solid state laser diode in the visible red range with telecentric precision optics.
High precision measurements of diameters, widths and heights can be carried out on line and off line.
The measuring head scans the object with a laser beam. The shadow cast
as a result is transmitted to the data acquisition system as a digital
signal.
The laser micrometer ODAC 151 is universal in its application and very compact. Thanks to its
modular construction the measuring head can
also be applied where a greater distance between emitter and receiver
is required.
The transmitter and receiver are, therefore, offered with connecting
rails of different lengths in order to ensure greater flexibility. They
may also be installed as separate components without connecting rail.
An "offset feature" allows the processor to take into account
differences between the on line measurement and the finished product at
20°C.
The "window contamination indicator" alerts in case of excessive accumulation of deposits on the measuring windows.
All inspection emplacements
PCL series, all software GRAFIX series and all systems SCADEX series
can work with the laser micrometer ODAC series to fulfill numerous
functions such as :
- Product code library
- med/min/max value storage
- Closed loop process control
- Statistical report
- Real-time SPC charts
- Measurement and control of outer diameter, ovality, position
- Alarm and pre-alarm management.
- Process trend visualization
- Acquired data sharing with remote emplacements
- Historical Log of process
- Client-Server Architectures
