Description


DATASINK 3200 is the new RODER Electronics product for the realization of test benches, for the quality control in production or in metrological laboratory, for the study and control of dimensional or geometric features.

The innovative architecture of DATASINK 3200 allows the realization of systems for dimensional control by using standard sensors and tools, easily availables and especially with very competitive costs.

DATASINK 3200 is ideal for anyone that needs a dimensional inspection of particulars of any materials (metal, plastic, rubber, glass, paper, marble, etc...) .

System Composition

DATASINK 3200 is composed by 4 elements  :


Probes and Sensors

It is possible to choose between many types of probes, sensors, transducers and measuring instruments of the most important world manufacturers (Mitutoyo, Tesa, Mahr, Zumbach, Mel, Keyence).
It is possible to install in the same application also probes and instruments from different manufacturers

Cables and interfaces

The cable connection can be equipped from a simple cable or with integrated converter. The connection length can reach a minimum of 1 meter up to a limit theoretically infinite (if You are working on Ethernet You can go up thousands of kilometers away).

The hub function is to combine the probe signals in a single transmission line and to allow the PC to talk in an homogeneous way with more probes also of different features.

The acquisition system can be based on PC Office, industrial PC or notebook. The only requirement is the presence of an operating systems like Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Signal hub able to concentrate the signals from 1 up to 32 digital probes in a single USB transmission channel.

- Possibility to give automatic commands of automatic acquisition, automatic recording, trigger

The DTBOX-PA86 electronic Unit is particularly suitable for unattended measuring emplacement and for automatic testing systems.





DATASINK 3200 Software

How to work DATASINK 3200 ...

DATASINK 3200 can be installed on any fixed or portable PC with operating system Windows XP (it can be installed on PC office, industrial PC, Panel PC or notebook

Through a connection cable and an interface provided by RODER Electronics You can connect to any instruments with standard protocol and acquire at automatic gaps or on command the data measured by the instrument..

The powerful mathematical functions integrated into the software allow the data correlation across more channels and the parameter calculation like flatness, the oscillation, the average between many probes, the starightness or the concentricity.

Data are transferred in real time from the instruments to the PC and it is possible to constantly monitor the acquisition process progress.

DATASINK 3200 can also be used from operators not expert in the PC use because it was created with the objective of simplifying the data acquisition operation in the production line or in the metrologic laboratory.


DATASINK 3200 is employed....

 ... in the field of precision mechanical working for the measure of mechanical particulars with accuracy from 0.001 mm up to 0.1 mm.

DATASINK 3200 is used for the dimensional and geometric control of mechanical samples. In a few moments it is possible to acquire the data of the particular to be inspected, to check if the piece is good or not, store and print the data of the inspected pieces. It is possible to control up to 32 probes placed on the same particular with the possibility to do mathematical calculations on single channels or on composed channels.

 ... in the field of stainless forging for the measure of finished or semi-finished products (both small and large) with measuring ranges from 1 up to 100 mt. It is possible to connect to the same unit up to 32 acquisition channels. All channels are constantly monitored and acquired on temporal base or on operator reminder.

All data can be stored in text format, Excel format or in  OpenOffice format.

 ... in the field of thermoplastic and rubber forging for the measure  of product dimensional features 8both with contact instruments and without contact instruments).

The use of low pressure indicators or laser instruments allows the dimensional control of particulars easily deformable. The use of temporal acquisition mode (the acquisition of a number of samples at costant temporal distance) allows to carry out deformation and flexion tests.







 ... in the field of glass and optical fibres for the dimensional control of finished particulars or for the control of continuous products in the production line.

In combination with laser systems for the control without contact it is possible to measure wires, cables, pipes directly in the production line, allowing the measurement of objects also at high speed or in metrologic laboratory without causing sample deformation.

 ... in the field of the research for the study of phenomena with slow variation over the time (deformations, flexions, bridge oscillations, dams, structures, etc...).

 ... in the field of paper and cardboards for the dimensional and geometric control of boxes, packages, pipes and supports..

The possibility to test the product both with contact probes and without contact probes allows the realization of profile measures on complex and easily deformable objects.
